What we do differently

Wholesale Gym Bags: How Assortment Orders Are Packed and Shipped

On a 20,000 pc assortment the packing spec matters as much as the sewing. Four things change in how we run a distributor order compared with a single-SKU brand order.

One packing spec per colourway, not per order

Each colourway gets its own carton mark, unit count and barcode set, so a warehouse receiving 12 cartons knows what is in each without opening them. Marks are checked at packing inspection.

Per-door or per-region carton splitting

Cartons can be built to a per-door quantity and labelled by destination, so a distributor breaking bulk across 20 accounts does not repack. Give us the split with the purchase order, not after production.

One dye lot per colourway where volume allows

Up to roughly 5,000 pcs of a colourway is usually dyed in one lot. Above that, a retained swatch and roll-by-roll checks at incoming inspection hold shade across the run.

A working schedule for a 5,000–20,000 pc multi-colourway run. Sign-off dates matter more than production dates, because a late lab dip approval moves everything behind it.
Week 0

Assortment brief

Styles, colourway split, run size from 5,000 pcs, target shelf tiers, packing and barcode requirements, plus the retail window. Quote back within 24 hours.
Week 1–2

Build sheets and samples

Existing showroom samples are free, with courier paid by the buyer. Custom prototypes take 5–7 working days after the specification is confirmed. We quote the prototype fee, courier charge and any sample-fee credit before work starts.
Week 3

Lab dips per colourway

Every colourway is dyed 2–3 times and approved against your reference before bulk fabric is committed. See materials & colours.
Week 4

Order Confirmation and Payment Terms

Deposit releases fabric to the approved dips and books 2–3 line slots. The packing and barcode spec is frozen at the same time.
Week 5–11

Production Timing Confirmed for Your Order

Colourways run in sequence across the allocated lines with checks at first output, mid-line and end of line. Weekly photo and video report. See inline inspection.

Staggered shipping starts

The first completed colourway can ship while the last is still on the line, pulling your first delivery forward by 2–3 weeks.

Wholesale Sports Bags: Bulk Order Risks and the Factory Controls

Six problems specific to large multi-colourway orders, and the control that removes each. Shade, marks and timing account for most claims on bulk bag shipments.
Shade varies between the first and last cartons
Cause: several dye lots with no retained reference. Control: one dye lot per colourway up to roughly 5,000 pcs, an approved lab dip on file and roll-by-roll comparison at incoming inspection before cutting.
Cartons have to be opened and repacked at the warehouse
Cause: a single packing spec across a mixed assortment. Control: one packing spec, carton mark and unit count per colourway, and per-door splitting where the breakdown is supplied with the purchase order.
Barcodes or hangtags are wrong on part of the run
Cause: artwork supplied late and applied by memory. Control: barcode and hangtag artwork frozen with the packing spec at deposit stage and verified against it at packing inspection.
Goods land after the retail window has opened
Cause: a schedule counted from production rather than from sign-off dates. Control: the plan is built backwards from the retail window, with staggered shipping so the first colourway lands 2–3 weeks ahead of the last.
The target price only works by dropping quality invisibly
Cause: cost cut in places a buyer cannot inspect. Control: a written build sheet per tier stating fabric denier, coating, lining, zipper gauge and reinforcement, so what changed between tiers is on paper. See cost factors.
The same style appears at a competitor in our market
Cause: a developed pattern treated as general factory stock. Control: exclusivity by market can be agreed in writing against a stated annual volume, and private label patterns are filed under your project code. See private label programs.
