Bag Production Process: 10 Steps From Purchase Order to Shipment

How bags are made here follows one route for every order, whether 300 pcs or 20,000. Ten steps run from purchase order and agreed deposit through material inspection, cutting, pre-processing, sewing on one of 10+ lines, 100% final inspection and packing, to the agreed balance and FOB release. Repeat-order timing is confirmed against the approved sample, any specification changes and current material and production availability.

Common problems

Bag Production Process Problems and How the Factory Prevents Them

Six failures that show up between purchase order and shipment at bag suppliers, and the control built into the 10-step process to remove each one.
Bulk bags 2 cm smaller than the sample
Cause: pattern re-drafted for the bulk cut. Control: the pattern is frozen with the golden sample on Day 0–1; the pre-production sample from the bulk roll is measured to ±1 cm before the line starts.
Defects found only at final inspection
Cause: no inline check. Control: QC points at incoming material, pre-processing and three points on the line, so a seam or logo fault is fixed within the shift. See inline inspection.
Ship date moves after the deposit
Cause: materials ordered late. Control: purchase orders released on Day 0 against the deposit; out-of-network fabric and custom moulds are flagged in the quote with their +7–15 days.
Colour differs between two cartons
Cause: two fabric lots on one order. Control: lots checked against the lab dip at incoming inspection and cut lot by lot; cartons are marked with the lot so a split is visible.
No visibility for 4 weeks
Cause: updates only on request. Control: weekly photo and video report from the line and a 24-hour reply from one project manager.
Cartons rejected at the warehouse
Send the current requirements for your marketplace and destination, including barcodes, bagging, warnings, carton size and weight. We confirm the packing specification and its cost before production. packing inspection. FBA.
