Where the wet section sits decides the pattern, the welding jig and the price. These four cover most briefs we receive.

Base-tray wet duffel

Welded TPU tray across the full 50–58 cm base, 8–10 cm deep, accessed from the side. Keeps the wet load low and the main body dry; the most common build.
Mid–high · base tray

End-section wet duffel

Wet zone occupies one end panel, 6–8 L, with a mesh vent on the outer face. Shares the body with a gym duffel so the two can run on one fabric booking.
Mid–high · end section

Wet-dry backpack

20–30 L gym backpack body with a welded wet pocket in the base. Hot-yoga and swim-commute buyers specify this.

Removable welded pouch

Dry bag with a 4–6 L welded TPU pouch on a 20 mm hook and loop. Lowest cost route to a wet claim; also sold as a wet pouch add-on.

Every wet-dry bag that comes back to a brand fails in one of three places. None of them are visible in a product photo and all of them are decided at sample stage.

Stitched seams wick within hours

Our Guangzhou team coordinates design, cutting, sewing, printing and packing. Specialist logo or sealed-compartment requirements are reviewed during sampling, with the process and inspection criteria confirmed for your bag.

The zip is the leak path

A coated zip resists splash, it does not seal under submersion. We specify a #5–#8 PU-film zip, add a 3–4 cm storm flap and a zip garage, and route the zip along the top edge so standing water sits 6–10 cm below it. Where a client needs a true seal we quote a welded roll-top instead.

The sealed pocket smells after a week

A section that holds water also holds moisture-fed odour. We add a 100–200 GSM mesh vent panel or 4–6 brass eyelets on the outer face, offer an antimicrobial-finished lining, and keep the wet zone away from the shoe pocket so two odour sources do not share one wall.

Custom Wet Dry Gym Bags: Frequently Asked Questions

The wet section is welded and holds standing water; the zip is water-resistant, not submersible. We route the zip 6–10 cm above the tray floor so contents stay contained in normal carry. For a submersible build see wet bags and dry bags.
TPU at sample-approved welds stronger and survives more fold cycles; PEVA at 0.15–0.2 mm costs less and is chlorine-free. For a retail line we recommend TPU; for a promotional pouch PEVA is adequate. Compared in the material guide.
Every prototype is filled to the zip line and held for 30 minutes on a paper sheet, then checked at each weld. The same check is repeated on pulled units at inline inspection, and third-party inspectors are welcome to witness it.
From 300 pieces. The TPU section stays clear or black across colourways, so adding a shell colour does not add a TPU minimum. Details in the MOQ guide.
A new wet zone shape needs a welding jig, built during sampling. We confirm the production schedule after reviewing the specification, material availability and target quantity. Allow separate time for sample approval and freight.
Yes. A 4–6 L welded pouch on a hook-and-loop mount can be lifted out and rinsed. It lowers the shell cost and is the same pouch we sell in accessory sets.
