Custom Bag MOQ and Order Questions

300 pieces. That floor comes from cutting economics: a marker lay is spread 40–60 plies deep and fabric arrives on 50–100 m rolls, so a run under 300 pcs wastes more fabric than it sews. The full arithmetic is in the custom bag MOQ guide.
Per style and per colourway. A single gym duffel in black, sand and olive is three dye lots, so the order is 900 pcs, not 300. Buyers who want visual range at 300 pcs usually keep one body colour and vary the printed panel or the webbing instead.
No, because each style needs its own pattern set, marker and sewing set-up. What does work is a 3-piece set counted as one style: a duffel, a shoe bag and a pouch built on the same fabric, ordered at 300 sets. See private label gym bag sets.

As many as you can commit 300 pcs to. Most first orders run 1–2 colourways at 300–600 pcs; ranges of 3–8 SKUs from activewear brands usually run 3 colourways. Each colourway needs its own Pantone lab dip approved before bulk cutting starts.

Bulk production and repeat-order schedules are confirmed in your quotation, based on the construction, materials, quantity and production availability. Patterns, markers, screens, embroidery tapes and the golden sample are already on file, so only fabric buying and the sewing slot drive the date. See the OEM / ODM workflow. OEM / ODM workflow.

1 free round of adjustments: dimensions to ±1 cm, pocket position, webbing length, a hardware swap or logo placement to ±3 mm. A revision normally turns around in 3–5 working days. A 2nd round, or a structural change that needs a new pattern, is quoted as a new sample. Approved bags are sealed as the golden sample.
Yes. A range of 3–8 SKUs is prototyped in parallel rather than one after another, so the whole set lands in the same 5–7 day window instead of 5–7 weeks. This is how most private label programs start. Each SKU carries its own sample fee.

Custom Bag Design and Tech Pack Questions

No. About half of first orders arrive as reference photos and a written brief. Our 10+ in-house designers turn that into a dimensioned spec you approve before any fabric is cut, usually within 2–3 working days. What a complete pack looks like is in the bag tech pack guide.
Ten elements: a 3-view flat sketch, dimensions L × W × H in cm, a bill of materials, fabric with denier and GSM, a Pantone colourway, a hardware schedule, logo placement in cm, stitching at 8–10 stitches per inch, a packing spec and labelling. Each one is explained in the tech pack guide.
Yes. Send 3–6 reference images, a target capacity in litres and a price tier. We produce 100+ new models a month, so the design team usually answers with a structure proposal and a fabric shortlist within 2–3 days at no charge. See custom design and structure.
Yes, and it is the fastest route. Our library covers custom bag styles across 8 categories; changing dimensions, pocket count, webbing or colour keeps the sample at 5–7 days instead of 7–10. Browse the product hub or read the OEM, ODM and private label guide.
You do, for anything built to your brief. Patterns, graded sizes, embroidery tapes, screens and any custom hardware mould are stored under your project code and are not offered to other buyers. Mould tooling is quoted separately and adds 10–15 days: see trims and hardware.
Yes, on request and before sampling starts. Send your own document or ask for ours; turnaround is usually 1 working day. Project files sit under a project code held by one named contact, described on project communication. You can also ask for it by email.
Yes. Capacity, panel height, base width, strap drop and pocket depth are all adjustable; a change of 2–5 cm on a main panel needs a new pattern but no new tooling. Anything that changes the base construction resets the sample clock to 7–10 days. See sample development.

Bag Materials and Fabric Questions

Polyester 300D–1680D, nylon 210D–840D, ripstop, neoprene 2–4 mm, RPET recycled polyester, TPU and PVC for welded builds, polyester mesh, canvas 10–16 oz and PU. We work with 200+ verified fabric suppliers; the full comparison sits in the bag material guide.
600D polyester for a price-led 30–40 L bag, 900D for a mid-tier duffel and 1680D ballistic where the bag is thrown into a car boot daily. Base panels usually step up one grade above the body. Compare the options on gym duffel bags.
Yes, in 300D–600D weights with the same coating and colour options as virgin polyester. Expect a 5–15% cost step and a slightly narrower shade range because dye uptake differs by batch. Where a buyer needs recycled-content paperwork we ask the mill for it: see material sourcing.
Yes. Send the Pantone code or a physical chip; the mill runs a lab dip, we send 2–3 shade options, and bulk cutting only starts once you approve one. Allow 7–10 days for the lab dip inside the sampling window. Details on custom materials and colours.

It is the approved prototype, sealed and stored at the factory for the life of the programme. Every inspection gate compares production against it: stitch density, logo position to ±3 mm, hardware, colour. Without one, defects become arguments. See golden sample approval.
The quotation and order documents confirm the payment schedule, inspection arrangements and shipment-release requirements. Review these terms before approving the order. inline inspection.
