Construction

Where Yoga Bags Go Wrong

Review these construction points before approving the sample. The right choice depends on the intended load, material and how the bag will be used.

The mat does not fit

Buyers specify mat length and forget rolled diameter. A 6 mm mat rolls to about 13–15 cm; a 4 mm travel mat to about 10 cm. A sleeve cut for the thin one will not take the thick one. We ask for the actual mat you intend to pair with, and pattern around it.

The strap drop is wrong

A mat carrier is worn cross-body over a coat in winter and over a vest in summer. Fixed straps fail one of those. We spec an adjustable 100–140 cm range with a slide buckle, and anchor it into a reinforced panel rather than a single seam.
