A laundry bag is one panel of fabric, one drawstring channel and one decision: does it breathe or does it seal. That decision picks the fabric, and the fabric picks everything else in the spec below.

Custom Laundry Bag Variants We Build

Four builds, two fabric logics. The variant chooses breathable or sealed, and whether the bag is a giveaway in a member kit or a retail piece in a travel set; that places it at the lowest or low tier.

Mesh laundry bag

100–200 GSM mesh, single drawstring channel, woven label. The breathable build for gym sets and member kits; also used as a wash bag at 30–40 °C.

Where Laundry Bags Fail: and What We Do About It

A drawstring bag fails at the two cord exits, at the print, and in the choice between mesh and coated. Simple bag, three spec lines, all confirmed on the prototype.

The cord saws through the exit

A 4–5 mm cord pulled 5–10 times a day cuts through an unreinforced exit on mesh or 210D within 2–3 months. We bar-tack both exits, add a 15–20 mm fabric reinforcement patch under each on mesh builds, and use a metal or reinforced plastic grommet on hospitality bags that go through a commercial wash.

The print washes off

A laundry bag goes through the wash with the laundry. A standard screen print on coated 210D fades after 10–15 cycles at 40 °C. We use a flexible ink system rated for washing on the 150 × 100 mm print area, keep it to 1–2 colours, and wash-test the prototype 5 times before the golden sample.

Sealed when it should breathe

A coated laundry bag zipped inside a duffel for 8 hours holds moisture against the kit and against the bag lining. We recommend 100–200 GSM mesh for gym sets where the bag lives inside the duffel, and reserve the coated or welded build for travel sets where the bag sits beside clean clothes.
