Mesh beach tote

Full 150–200 GSM mesh body on a tarpaulin base; sand and water fall straight through. Resort and swim-club retail at the lowest cost in the group.

Where Beach Totes Fail: and What We Do About It

Wet towels, sand and sun are a harder test than a gym floor. These three failures account for most returns on the category.

The handles tear out of the mesh

Five to eight kilos of wet towels hanging from two handle anchors stitched into open mesh pulls the mesh apart at the stitch line within a season. We run the 25–38 mm handle webbing down the body and under the tarpaulin base as a continuous loop, so the load sits on the webbing and the base rather than on the mesh.

Sand stays in the bag

A fabric base with no drain holds sand and wet grit against the towels. We specify either an open mesh base or 8–10 mm grommets at the four corners, and on fabric-bodied totes turn the tarpaulin base up 8–10 cm so wet sand sits against wipe-clean material.

The colour fades and the base scuffs

Sun and salt bleach cheap dyes in 4–8 weeks, and a soft base scuffs on concrete and sand. We source mesh and polyester in colour-fast lots from suppliers in our verified network, and use 0.3–0.5 mm tarpaulin for the base so the wear point is the toughest material on the bag.

Custom Beach Totes: Frequently Asked Questions

From 300 pieces. A 4-colour summer drop is therefore 1,200 pieces minimum, because each colour is its own mesh and fabric lot. See the MOQ guide.
The base is 0.3–0.5 mm PVC or TPU tarpaulin, turned up 8–10 cm, which is wipe-clean and does not soak through. The body above it is water-resistant, not waterproof. For a sealed compartment inside the tote we add a welded wet bag pocket.
Mesh drains sand and water and costs least; fabric takes an all-over print and reads as retail. Many programmes split the difference with a fabric front for print and mesh sides for drainage. The material guide compares them.
Yes, on polyester from 200+ verified suppliers; mesh and tarpaulin are stocked in fewer shades, so we confirm the closest lot against your reference at quote stage. See materials & colors.
Handles run under the base as a continuous webbing loop, so the tote carries 5–8 kg of wet towels without loading the mesh. We pull-test the handle anchors on the sample and at inline inspection.
Custom samples take 5–7 working days after the specification is confirmed. Bulk production and repeat-order schedules are confirmed in your quotation, based on the construction, materials, quantity and production availability. Book summer drops 4–6 weeks ahead of the target ship date.
