A wet bag has one job and two ways to fail: the seam and the zip. The film gauge, the seam method and the closure are the three lines that matter on this sheet.

Variants

Custom Wet Bag Variants We Build

Single-layer or fabric-shelled, one pocket or two. The variant decides whether the wet bag is a welded product or a sewn product with a welded core.

Single-layer TPU wet bag

0.2–0.3 mm TPU body, fully welded, printed logo, coated zip. The lightest and the cheapest sealed version at 60–90 g.
Low · fully welded

Fabric-shell wet bag

210–300D printed polyester outer over a welded 0.15 mm TPU liner, taped at the shell seam. Reads as a retail product and takes embroidery on the shell.
Low–mid · shell + liner

Double-pocket wet/dry bag

Welded wet pocket and a dry mesh or fabric pocket sharing one handle. Hot-yoga studios buy this as the 8 L towel-and-change bag.
Mid · 2 pockets

Stitched seams wick through the needle holes

The zip is the open edge

A standard coil zip on a sealed pouch is the only path left for water and it takes it. We use a water-resistant coated zip with a 15–20 mm storm flap on wet bags, and keep the zip tape welded or taped to the liner rather than only stitched. For a submersible claim we move to a roll or clip seal instead.

PEVA cracks at the fold

PEVA film costs less than TPU but whitens and cracks where the bag is folded the same way 50–100 times. We use PEVA only on promo and budget bags with a fabric shell that takes the fold, and specify sample-approved TPU for anything sold at retail or used daily. The prototype gets a fold-and-fill leak check.

TPU at sample-approved for anything sold at retail or used daily; it survives 50–100 folds without cracking. PEVA for promo and budget bags with a fabric shell. The material guide compares them.
Yes: pad or screen print in 1–2 colours on the TPU body, or a full-colour print on a fabric shell. Embroidery goes on the shell only, because it would punch through the welded liner. See the logo method guide.
A welded seal keeps moisture and smell in the bag until it is opened, which is what studio chains order it for. It does not treat the odour; that is a wash cycle, not a bag feature.
Custom samples take 5–7 working days after the specification is confirmed. Bulk production and repeat-order schedules are confirmed in your quotation, based on the construction, materials, quantity and production availability. Bundled with a main bag it ships on the main bag schedule.
