Variants

Running Belt Variants We Build

The three builds differ in whether the body is a continuous stretch tube, an elastic band with a sewn pocket, or a race giveaway with a print panel. Sewing time runs from 6 to 14 operations.

Continuous stretch belt

Seamed lycra tube, 60–80 mm wide, 2–4 openings, no buckle and no zip. Sold in S/M/L. Lowest weight at 30–50 g and the cleanest surface for sublimation print.
Low–mid · graded sizes

Zip-pocket elastic belt

40–50 mm knitted elastic with a sewn 210D or lycra pocket, #3 zip, 25 mm side-release buckle. Adjusts across 65–110 cm. The running-store shelf standard.
Mid · adjustable

Race event belt

40 mm elastic, one 18 × 6 cm pocket, race-number toggles and a flat print area of about 15 × 5 cm. Built for 2,000–10,000 piece event orders on a fixed date.
Low · print-led

Running belt tied to a race date?

Send the event date, quantity and sponsor artwork. Custom samples take 5–7 working days after the specification is confirmed. Bulk production and repeat-order schedules are confirmed in your quotation, based on the construction, materials, quantity and production availability.
Construction

Where Running Belts Fail: and What We Do About It

Belts fail at three seams and one buckle. All four are visible on the prototype and none of them show in a product photo.
1

The pocket seam splits at the phone corner

Send the dimensions of the target phone, including its case. We check the pocket opening, closure and fit against those dimensions on the sample.
2

The buckle releases mid-run

A 25 mm side-release buckle from the wrong supplier lets go when the elastic is under 8–10 kg tension. We source buckles from named suppliers in our 200+ network, check every lot at incoming inspection and prefer a slide-adjust plus fixed buckle on race volume so there is one less part to fail.
3

The size grading is wrong for the market

A 60 mm stretch belt graded for one market rides up or slips in another. We grade S/M/L to a stated waist chart, hold 3–4 cm of recovery per size and print the size on the inside label. Send the size distribution from your last order and we cut to it.

What You Can Change on a Custom Running Belt

1

Design & Structure

Belt width, pocket length and count, zip or tuck-in opening, race-number toggles, gel loops and size grading. A second pocket adds 3–4 sewing operations.
2

Materials & Colors

Fabric family, denier, coating, lining and Pantone matching from 200+ verified suppliers. Each extra colourway is a separate dye lot with its own minimum.
3

Logo & Branding

Sublimation across the whole band on light lycra, screen print per colour on elastic, reflective transfer on the pocket. A 4 × 1.5 cm woven label inside carries the size.
4

Graphics & Printing

Screen print priced per colour per position, sublimation on light polyester, heat transfer for gradients. Artwork at 300 DPI in AI or PDF.
5

Trims & Hardware

#3 coil zips, 40–60 mm knitted elastic, 25 mm side-release or slide buckles, silicone toggles for race numbers. Toggles and buckles are the two parts that fail on giveaways.
6

Packaging & FBA Prep

Send the current requirements for your marketplace and destination, including barcodes, bagging, warnings, carton size and weight. We confirm the packing specification and its cost before production.

The Factory Behind Your Running Belt Order

Belts are a stretch-sewing and printing job. Overlock, coverstitch, bar-tack and screen-print stations sit on the same floor in our 5,000 m² plant in Huadu, Guangzhou, so a 10,000-piece race order runs at roughly 5,000 pieces per line per month across two lines.
